Cetification Methodology

Certification period

Certification is granted for a period of two years and consists of the following phases:

1. Certification process.
2. Full revision after 12 months.
3. Random inspections after 6 and 18 months.

Certification process

Certification process is made of several phases:

1. Certification request for the website.
2. Service proposal.
3. Accessibility guideline application review:
   • If there is no application evidence, se recomienda un asesoramiento.
   • If there is evidence, certification process goes on.
4. Certification process, website evaluation.
   • If accessibility problems are found, corrective actions are defined, notified and must be applied.
   • If there are no accessibility problems, certification process is finished.
5. Obtaining the certificate, certification process is finished.

For the annual full revision and random inspection the same process is carried, certificate revocation being possible.
